\"Infinita\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Infinita is a Finnish-Italian jazz quintet performing Sid Hille’s compositions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The band had its origin when Sid participated in the composition competition ‘Scrivere in Jazz’ in Sassari, Sardegna in September 2008.
\nThe Bigband ‘Orchestra jazz della Sardegna’ performed Hille’s piece ‘Tango M\u00f2rbido Y C\u00ecnico<\/a>‘, which consequently won the first prize of the competition.
\nAfter the concert the band’s tenorist Massimo Carboni and Sid started talking about other possibilities of co-operation and the idea of a cross-european quintet was born.<\/p>\n

In 2010 trumpeter Tero Saarti, bassist Paolo Spanu and drummer Gianni Filindeu completed the band.
\nInfinita (from FIN and ITA) held its debut concert<\/a> at the ‘Musica sulle Bocce’-jazz festival in Santa Teresa di Gallura, Sardegna, which was followed by a short tour in Finland in spring 2011.<\/p>\n
